Tá ceist agam faoi 'ham'. Bhí mé i nGaoth Dobhair mí ó shin agus ar ais ó Bhaile an Fheirtéartaigh inné - an dá áit sa Ghaeltacht. San dhá áit, bhí an fhadhbh againn. Chuireamar ceist faoi cheapaire tósta le cáis agus liamhás agus níor thuig siad 'liamhás'. Gach uair, chuireamar an cheist céanna, 'cad t-ainm a churann tú ar ham' agus an freagra ná 'ham' ó ghach duine! An úsáideann éinne eile an focal 'liamhás' ar chor ar bith????

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

N' fheadair an é liamhás an focal traidisiúnta? Úsáidimse fhéin é. Ach gan amhras thá ana chuid saibhris teangain 'mithe anois ós na Gaeltachtaibh de dheasca brú is bagairt an Bhéarla.
