Always wait for at least three people to agree on a translation, especially if it’s for something permanent.

My translations are usually GU (Ulster Irish), unless CO (Standard Orthography) is requested.

My "specialty" is Connemara Irish, particularly Cois Fhairrge dialect.
Is fearr Gaeilge ḃriste ná Béarla cliste, cinnte, aċ i ḃfad níos fearr aríst í Gaeilge ḃinn ḃeo na nGaeltaċtaí.
Gaeilge Chonnacht (GC), go háraid Gaeilge Chois Fhairrge (GCF), agus Gaeilge an Chaighdeáin Oifigiúil (CO).

Agus Cré Na Cille á phlé agaibh, caithfidh mé é sin a léamh arís!

Speaking of Cré Na Cille, I must read it again!

Hi Tim! I hear that big earthquake moved you about four feet closer to California. Better watch out, or we'll be neighbors! ;)

Hello,

Well, learning Irish has been on my list of things to do for some time now. I have decided that I will have to take baby steps in order to learn it. :D

I look forward to being a part of your community!

Thank you,
Allison

It is recommended that you always wait for three to agree on a translation.
I speak Connemara Irish, and my input will often reflect that.
I will do an mp3 file on request for short translations.

Go raibh míle maith agat, a Bhríd. Tá Gaeilge agam ach ta mé ag iarraidh níos mó Gaeilge a fhoglaim nó b'fhéidir cruinneas a chur ar mo Ghaeilge. Ach caithim a rá nach bhfuil mo chuid litríochta go maith, gabh mo leithscéal. Agus fós níos measa tá dhá chanúint agam, uaireanta bíonn mé trína a chéile leis an teanga ( prátaí nó fataí  ) - osna!
Bhí mé ag féachaint ar na "posts" atá ar an bhfóram, tá cuid acu thar a bheith suimiúil. :good:
