OK now...this is really weird! I've lost another post (this time here; earlier on IGTF). I posted a response directly under Breandán's acknowledging that he was right about "an bhfaightear" and asking "an úsáidtear sa seomra suí é (de ghnáth)?" Now it's not there.

That has happened to me on this thread too.
After it was asked "an bhfuil sé beo?" I asked "an raibh sé beo uair amháin?"
but it never showed. I thought it was my own mistake by not posting it properly.

Very odd that both forums would have that problem.

The only thing I can suggest, Redwolf, is that you may have done something that I do often, that is to preview my post and then forget to press submit. I've lost countless posts that way. (Damn I hope we aren't going to have database problems this early in the game. :S )

I will have a look, a Bhríd.

I'd have thought that as well, if it hadn't also just happened at IGTF (other people saw my post over there, so I know it wasn't a case of hitting preview instead of submit in that instance).

That doesn't mean it isn't the case here, of course...it just seemed odd to lose two posts in one day (especially as I only use the "preview" feature when I'm trying to post images).

It's possible, then, that I did accidentally hit "preview" here (still learning my way around). No idea what happened at IGTF.

Anyway, cytex asked the question I'd meant to ask, so we're golden!

Ní uirlis é

Níl

1) Níl sé beo

2) Ní píosa troscáin é

3) Bíonn sé istigh i bhfoirgneamh

4) Ní bhíonn daoine á úsáíd nuair a bhíonn siad ag ligint a scíth

5) Ní urlár é

6) Níl sé níos mó na bosca aráin

7) Ní bhfaightear sa chistin é

8) Ní uirlis é

9) Níl sé sa seomra suí
