Basically I am asking my pub owner 4th cousin once removed to save this lipstained mug Maureen O'Hara used in his pub last year that he just told me about... I want to see it after I meet my newly found 4th cousins and have my very first guinness in the pub. Actually the pub owner is the son of one of my fourth cousins.. so he is a "once removed cousin" I discovered this family after a long genealogy search of my famine era ancestor place of birth... only to find my O'Connor family still living in the same place!

The quote from LOTR is "Keep IT safe." "Keep is safe" doesn't really make any sense, when you think about it.

You can leave out 4th cousin once removed.. I can say that in English i guess

In Irish, there' no need for terms like "once removed" in stating a relationship. You just measure the number of links needed to connect you to the other person through your common ancestor. A first cousin is a col ceathrar because there are 4 links needed to connect the two of you: (1) up to your father/mother, (2) then up to your common grandparent, (3) then down to your uncle/aunt, and (4) then down to the cousin. That cousin's child is your col cúigear in the same way, because you've added one more link. Your child and that cousin's child would each be a col seisear to one another, because a sixth link is added.

It doesn't matter which direction you are moving; you just count the links of connection through the common ancestor.
