I wanted to get another tattoo in a couple months to fit with the theme I've got going (my Irish heritage and music), so I wanted to get "we sing because we can't speak anymore" done around my current tattoo. I have a friend that sort of speaks it and she suggested: "canaimid toisc nach féidir linn labhairt níos mó". I'd appreciate any other input!

I think that's grammatically correct, but toisc is more of a Munster idiom (while níos mó is used everywhere but Munster.)

In the other two dialects, Connacht and Ulster, I think they'd use mar in preference:

Canaimid mar ní féidir linn labhairt níos mó. "We sing because we can't speak any more."

Yes, but that's because you tend to use Munster idioms all the time.

From that perspective (i.e., Munster flavour), a thuilleadh would certainly fit with toisc.
