Somebody on another forum has asked for a translation of - Laughter cures the soul.
Here's my attempt at it - Déanann an gáire leighreas ar an t-anam.

Attention à pas confondre "leigheas" et "leithreas" (chiottes  )

I'd say
Leigheasann an gáire an t-anam.

(in your sentence, it should be "ar an anam", without t-)

LOL.... I never thought of that!!!! LOL....

I would vote for Lughaidh's: "Leigheasann an gáire an t-anam."
...as an Irish translation of 'Laughter cures the soul."

Yes the 'r's in the wrong place - it must have slipped in there when I wasn't looking (too late now, the gaffe is there for all to see  )
somebody (on another forum) has suggested - Corraíonn an gáire an t-anam
and someone else on another forum has suggested - Is é an gáire leigheas an chroí (because they say chroí is more usually used in this context)
